Glossary

BP (Bey Points)
The main currency. Earned from matches and codes, spent on summons. How to get BP.
Spin Ticket
One summon on the standard banner. Comes from codes, packs and bundles. See spin rates.
Lucky Spin
A spin on the Surname banner that, per the store, is “never a Common”. See surnames.
Surname
Your blader family name, rolled on the Surname banner. Surnames have rarities and bonuses.
Surname Slot
An extra slot (Robux) so you can keep one surname safe while spinning for another.
Layer
The top part of a bey. It gives the bey its name, type and rarity, e.g. Surge Spriggan (Balance).
Disc
The middle weight of a bey. Discs can carry a trait.
Driver
The tip of a bey that touches the stadium floor. Drivers can carry a trait.
Trait
A bonus rolled on a disc or driver. Rerolled with Tokens. See traits.
Token
One trait reroll on a disc or driver.
Soul Ticket / Soul Draw
The Halloween event draw. One Soul Ticket is one Soul Draw. See Halloween event.
Limited banner
A Robux-only summon banner. A 10-pull guarantees “an Epic or better”, per the store.
Shiny / Chaos
A rare variant of Mythic and Divine layers. The Chaos Luck pass makes Shiny 1.5x more likely. See Shiny & Chaos.
Burst
Breaking the rival bey apart. One of three ways to win a round, as Volt explains in the tutorial.
Ring Out
Knocking the rival bey out of the stadium: the second way to win a round.
Spin finish
The rival bey stops spinning before yours: the third way to win a round.
Power
The overall rating shown on the match intro card; a borrowed Surge Spriggan showed Power 1,265 in the tutorial.
Battlepass
A tiered reward track. Premium adds “a second, bigger reward on every Battlepass tier”. See Battlepass.
VIP
A game pass: +20% BP from every match, stacks with 2x BP boosts.
Paint Studio
A game pass to paint your layer, disc, driver and launcher.
